Camden Yards

A fan-friendly ballpark built on a former railroad site, Camden Yards flaunts a range of great signs. The environmental signage system was created by David Ashton, a local design hero (and former faculty member), who was inspired by vintage baseball visuals. Two orange seats stand out from all the other green ones and mark record-breaking home runs by Cal Ripken and Eddie Murray. Above the scoreboard, an advertisement for the Baltimore Sun flashes: the “H” lights up to show a hit and the “E” for an error.
