Ellen Lupton

A truly interesting and remarkable designer. The MICA Graphic Design MFA chair, Ellen believes that designers not only have to be able to design but equantly explain their process. She is the co-founder of design/writing/research with J. Abbott Miller and a curator at the Cooper-Hewitt, The Smithsonian Museum of Design. Ellen has also writen many books, most MICA students are familiar with “Thinking With Type’ as well as “D.I.Y. : Do It Yourself” and “Graphic Design: The New Basics”.
