This guide was designed by and for design students at Maryland
Institute College of Art. The goal in producing this blog was to identify
and share the gems of design in Baltimore, and thus encourage design
students to explore the surrounding community. Especially in this era
when so much inspiration can be found online, we’d like to encourage
students to find inspiration for their work in the city!
At the time of publishing, all information was accurate, but since the
city develops and changes quickly, call ahead before visiting any places
or before using any resources mentioned in the book. We welcome additions,
corrections, and suggestions.
